SS23 Line Drawings

When Carl Alberg passed away, many of his papers and drawings went to the Peabody-Essex Museum. We have been in contact with the Museum, and have received a complete set of line drawings for the 23′ Sea Sprite. There are 5 drawings in all, including both designs (the Weekender and the Daysailor), and the drawings of the hull design. The original drawings ranged in size from from 8.5″ x 17″ to approx. 24″ x 36″. They will be adjusted to size, and printed on white  heavy weight 11” x17″ matte paper.

In compliance with Peabody-Essex’s directive for use, we are making make them available only to members of the SSA to be used for personal non-commercial use.

If you would like to get a complete set of Alberg’s linedrawings for the 23′, the cost is $25.00, which includes shipping to USA addresses (International orders will not include shipping). Please join the Sea Sprite Association http://www.seaspriteassociation.com/membership/to-join/, and then email your request to get the drawings and your contact information (name, mailing address, email, and phone number) along with your check to:

    Hi Jonathan,
I am in the process of purchasing a 23′ Daysailer that has no trailer. I have found a used trailer that will carry the boat, but I need to convert the trailer to carry a full keel sail boat. I would like to buy the full set of plans if still available so the trailer bunks can be set at the right height and place to safely carry the boat. If not do you know where I can get specs for the trailer conversion.

    Thanks

    John
