Management:
The Bristol Yacht Club is the organizing authority. The series will be open to Sea Sprite 23’s.
Schedule:
2 races will be held Saturday afternoon, July 12th, 2014. The awards ceremony and a hamburger/hotdog cookout for skippers and crew will follow racing.
Rules:
The series will be governed by The Racing Rules of Sailing 2013, this Notice of Race, and the Sailing Instructions.
PHRF Certificate:
No PHRF certificate required.
Trophies:
Trophies will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in the series based upon low point scoring outlined in the SI. The overall winner will also have their name inscribed on the perpetual “Sea Sprite Regatta” trophy.
Insurance:
Each participating boat should be insured with valid third party insurance.
Fees and Registration
Cost will be $25/boat that will include the cookout for skippers and crew. You must also be a member of the Sea Sprite Association. To join, go to the Association website at http://www.seaspriteassociation.com. A registration form and the SI’s are also there on the website.
